Crate & Barrel closes Cherry Creek store for redevelopment project

Crate & Barrel has closed its store in Cherry Creek, located at 101 Clayton Lane, as part of a redevelopment project. The store's closure follows 25 years of operation, with a note thanking the community posted on its doors. The redevelopment, led by Invesco and partners, will involve demolishing the vacant Sears nearby and constructing new apartments with retail space. A new structure will also replace the current Crate & Barrel location. BMC Investments confirmed that a deal was reached with Crate & Barrel last fall, aligning with the overall redevelopment plan. The project will be rebranded as Cherry Lane, while Crate & Barrel maintains stores in Lone Tree and Broomfield.
