Costco launches alcohol sales in Ontario with a mix of wines and craft beers

Fewer than 15% of eligible grocery stores have applied for alcohol sales licenses, mainly due to recycling disputes. The Ontario government plans to consult with industry stakeholders about private label sales before 2026.
