Cooper Flagg ruled out with ankle injury in ACC quarterfinal
Duke's Cooper Flagg, the ACC Rookie and Player of the Year, suffered a left ankle injury during the first half of their quarterfinal game against Georgia Tech. He was helped off the court and ruled out for the remainder of the game. Before the injury, Flagg had a challenging performance, scoring only 2 points. Despite this, he contributed with 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block. Duke, the top seed in the ACC Tournament, will need to adjust without him. Flagg is expected to return for the NCAA Tournament, even if he cannot play in the rest of the ACC Tournament. A win against Georgia Tech could lead to a semifinal matchup with rival North Carolina.
