Cooper Flagg out for ACC Championship with ankle sprain
Duke star Cooper Flagg will not play in the ACC Championship game against Louisville due to a left ankle sprain. Head coach Jon Scheyer confirmed Flagg's absence after he was injured during a game against Georgia Tech. Flagg suffered the injury while attempting to grab a rebound and was briefly placed in a wheelchair. Although X-rays showed no fractures, his recovery will be monitored as Duke prepares for the NCAA Tournament. Duke has already secured its spot in the tournament, and Scheyer emphasized the importance of Flagg's long-term health over immediate play. The NCAA Tournament begins on March 20.
