Converge ICT Solutions Inc. plans to provide full fiber internet coverage across mainland Cebu by June 2025. The company aims to activate service in seven additional towns, including Tuburan and Santander, which currently lack access. Burt Dimaunahan, general manager of JFiber, stated that all projects should be completed by the June deadline. The company is also working on expanding fiber internet to Bantayan and Camotes islands, though this involves additional costs for submarine cables. Additionally, Cebu will be the first area to test Converge's new Wifi6 technology through its Super Bundles, which launched on November 22.
