Singer Conan Gray kissed Role Model on stage during Role Model's Governors Ball performance of "Sally, When the Wine Runs Out," surprising both the audience and Role Model. Gray, playing the role of "Sally," ran onstage and kissed Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, during the song. The kiss was unexpected, as Role Model usually selects a fan for the role.
