Commuter faces trial for pushing security officer at train station

A commuter is on trial for allegedly pushing a security officer at a train station, causing her to fall and sustain a head injury. The incident occurred when the 65-year-old security officer requested the commuter, Alina Meridian, to stop for a bag screening. Meridian allegedly refused, became aggressive, and pushed the officer. CCTV footage showed Meridian entering the train gantry and leaving after the incident. The trial continues with further witnesses expected to testify.
