Comark announces agreements to keep cleo, Ricki's and Bootlegger operating in Canada

Comark Holdings Inc. announced two agreements to keep its brands, cleo and Ricki’s, operating. Putman Investments will buy their assets and assume some leases, aiming to retain current employees. Court approval is needed, with a decision expected in February 2025. Additionally, Comark has a stalking horse agreement to sell Bootlegger to Warehouse One Clothing Ltd. This sale is part of a restructuring process under Canadian law. Interested buyers can submit bids by February 20, 2025, pending court approval. If approved, these transactions will remove the involved store locations from liquidation proceedings. Comark operates about 220 stores across Canada under its three fashion brands.
