College dropout lands ₹2 crore job through skill-based learning program 100xDevs
Karan Handa, a college dropout, recently secured a remote job in India with a salary of ₹2 crore per year. He credits his success to the 100xDevs program, which focuses on skill-based learning rather than traditional education. Founded by Harkirat Singh, 100xDevs offers practical coding education and has seen 80% of its first batch students receive multiple job offers. The program has attracted students from various backgrounds, including those from tier-2 and tier-3 colleges. In response to its success, 100xDevs plans to launch a new college offering a four-year computer science program. This initiative aims to provide practical learning and prepare students for the evolving tech job market.
