CM Adityanath enforces stricter measures for women's safety

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting on Sunday to discuss law and order in the state. He focused on ensuring safety as several festivals are approaching, including Chaitra Navratri, Ram Navami, and Eid-ul-Fitr. The CM emphasized the need for peaceful celebrations while respecting traditions. During the meeting, Adityanath ordered officials to enhance policing, monitor social media, and improve emergency services. He also called for the verification of drivers of tempos and e-rickshaws, as well as tenants. This came in response to a recent crime where a 32-year-old woman was kidnapped and murdered in Lucknow. The CM highlighted the importance of women’s safety, especially at religious sites, and called for increased patrols and active emergency services. He stressed the need to prevent vehicle overloading and ensure that sanitation, drinking water, and healthcare facilities are available. In addition, Adityanath announced a three-day event called "Janpad Vikas Utsav" in all districts. This event will showcase government achievements through exhibitions, cultural programs, and food festivals. The CM also directed officials to expedite the processing of revenue cases and conduct weekly reviews of their progress. His measures aim to maintain law and order while celebrating cultural heritage.
