CLO Virtual Fashion settles US patent case against Style3D maker
CLO Virtual Fashion has settled its U.S. patent infringement lawsuit against Zhejiang Lingdi Digital Technology, the company behind Style3D, concluding a legal action initiated in 2023. Linctex admitted that its Style3D Studio software infringes on three CLO patents and acknowledged the patents are valid and enforceable. The lawsuit alleged willful unauthorized use of CLO's patented 3D garment design technology and sought damages and injunctive relief. The settlement includes Linctex's admissions regarding U.S. Patent Nos. 10,733,773, 11,410,355, and 11,222,448, while other terms remain confidential. CLO, which has operated for over 15 years across industries including fashion, automotive, and gaming, maintains a global patent portfolio. CEO Simon Kim emphasized the company's commitment to protecting intellectual property to foster fair competition and innovation.
