Claude AI launches desktop apps and dictation mode for enhanced user experience
Anthropic has launched new desktop applications for its Claude AI chatbot, available for Windows and MacOS. These apps function similarly to the website and allow users to sign in with a Google account or email link. They are currently in beta. The new dictation mode, available on mobile apps for iOS and Android, lets users speak requests instead of typing. Users can engage in real-time conversations with Claude by tapping a microphone icon to dictate questions. Additionally, Anthropic has introduced Claude 3.5 Sonnet, which can interact with a computer by controlling the screen and entering text. The company continues to enhance Claude's features to compete with other AI chatbots.
