Chinese cyclist completes US journey to showcase human kindness

Yifei Xu, a 33-year-old cyclist from Shanghai, has completed a four-month journey across the United States, starting in New Jersey. He relied solely on the kindness of strangers for food and shelter, aiming to showcase the goodness of humanity. Throughout his travels, Xu engaged with many people, sharing meals and stories. While he faced some negative experiences, he noted that most interactions were positive, changing his initial perceptions of America. Xu plans to continue his travels to Australia and Japan and will document his experiences in a book. He hopes to inspire others with his message about the inherent compassion in human nature.
