Chiefs place kicker Spencer Shrader on injured reserve, sign Matthew Wright to roster

The Kansas City Chiefs have placed kicker Spencer Shrader on injured reserve due to a right hamstring injury. He was unable to practice last week and will be sidelined for at least a week. Matthew Wright has been signed to the 53-man roster to replace Shrader. Wright successfully kicked 4-of-5 field goals in the Chiefs' recent win over Las Vegas. In two games, Shrader made 3-of-3 field goals and all six extra points. Harrison Butker, the team's primary kicker, is still recovering and has a strong record this season.
