Chennai-Rameswaram Vande Bharat Express offers fastest travel

A new Vande Bharat Express train will soon connect Chennai and Rameswaram, completing the 665 km journey in under nine hours. The Chennai-Rameswaram Vande Bharat Express will utilize the New Pamban Bridge, offering the fastest travel time on the route. The train will have stops at major stations including Tambaram, Villupuram, and Tiruchchirapali. The train is expected to have eight coaches, with estimated fares of approximately Rs 1,400 for AC Chair Car and Rs 2,400 for Executive AC. The train is designed to run at 160 kmph.
