Chennai Metro Rail to start maintenance of viaduct for safety and leak prevention

Residents have expressed concerns about the safety risks during heavy rains, prompting the need for maintenance. Chennai Metro Rail officials plan to check the condition of the structures and drainage systems. Bids for the maintenance work have been invited, with a contractor expected to be selected in three months, and work may begin in April.
