Chennai-born student wins Miss India USA 2024 title in New Jersey

Caitlin Sandra Neil, a 19-year-old student from the University of California, Davis, was crowned Miss India USA 2024 in New Jersey. Born in Chennai, she has lived in the U.S. for 14 years and focuses on women's empowerment and literacy. Nirali Desia from Illinois and Manini Patel from New Jersey were named first and second runners-up, respectively. In the Mrs. India USA category, Sanskriti Sharma from Illinois won, while Arshita Kathpalia from Washington was crowned Miss Teen India USA. The pageant featured 47 contestants from 25 states across three categories. The event was organized by the India Festival Committee.
