A young puma named Mars, known for playing soccer and spitting, arrived at the Chelyabinsk Zoo today. The one-and-a-half-year-old male puma came from a zoo in Nizhny Novgorod and has already undergone a veterinary checkup. He is the grandson of a long-lived puma named Leo, also residing at the Chelyabinsk Zoo. Zoo staff plan to help Mars adjust to his new environment. The zoo also recently received a nine-month-old female puma, with the intention of forming a breeding pair in the future.
