Chase surpasses Monzo as Britain's top bank in new survey

JP Morgan's Chase has surpassed Monzo as Britain's favorite bank, according to a new survey by the Competition and Markets Authority. Chase, which entered the survey six months ago, received an 81% recommendation rate from customers, compared to Monzo's 80%. Chase's rise reflects a trend where digital banks are outperforming traditional banks. Starling Bank ranked third in overall service quality. The survey included responses from 23,000 customers across Britain and Northern Ireland. Monzo remains the top-rated bank for online and mobile services, while Nationwide Building Society leads in branch services. Royal Bank of Scotland ranked lowest, with only 46% of customers likely to recommend its account.
