Channel 4 streaming app launches on Android TV after years of delays

The Channel 4 streaming app is now available for Android TV, ending years of reliance on workarounds. Previously, users had to use third-party apps or cast from mobile devices to access content. Currently, the app is not available for Nvidia Shield TV but can be installed on Google TV devices. Users report that the app functions well when sideloaded on unsupported devices. While the app allows streaming of live content, not all shows are available yet. Channel 4 plans to expand the content library in the coming weeks.
