Cecilia High School advances to DII semifinals with 55-35 win over Plaquemine

Cecilia High School defeated Plaquemine 55-35 in the Division II nonselect playoffs, with Diesel Solari scoring six touchdowns. This victory marks Cecilia's eighth straight win and their fourth playoff win against a higher-seeded team. Cecilia quickly took control, scoring on their first five possessions after initially trailing. Plaquemine struggled defensively, allowing three touchdowns from turnovers and a recovered kickoff. Solari completed 14 of 17 passes for 213 yards and rushed for 112 yards. Plaquemine's Nico Victorian threw for 217 yards but was intercepted three times, while Tyrese Mosby rushed for 204 yards and two touchdowns.
