CBS revives "Comics Unleashed" for late-night programming

"Comics Unleashed" will return to CBS's late-night lineup this fall, filling the 12:37 a.m. time slot after "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." The comedy round-table show, produced by Byron Allen, will air two half-hour episodes back-to-back, replacing "After Midnight" which is ending. This move comes as CBS seeks to fill the slot previously occupied by original late-night programming. CBS previously used "Comics Unleashed" to fill airtime during the 2023 writers' strike. The show, which features various comedians, has aired since 2006 and previously ran on multiple CBS-owned stations.
