Carnegie Science Center to be renamed after record donation from Kamins

The Carnegie Science Center sign is being removed as part of a renovation. The building will be renamed The Daniel G. and Carole L. Kamin Science Center after the Kamins donated $65 million, the largest gift in the history of Carnegie Museums. The removal is due to necessary repairs on the building's facade, where the sign is located. The new signage will be installed next year, along with other updates to the science center. Daniel and Carole Kamin have supported the Carnegie Museums for decades. Their donation marks a significant contribution, following the original funding from Andrew Carnegie.
