Cadillac launches Lyriq-V, its fastest electric SUV with 615 horsepower
Cadillac has unveiled the Lyriq-V, a high-performance electric SUV with 615 horsepower. It accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, making it the fastest vehicle in Cadillac's history, surpassing the CT5-V Blackwing by a tenth of a second. The Lyriq-V features a 102 kWh battery, offering an estimated range of 285 miles. It can gain about 75 miles of range in 10 minutes with a DC fast charger. The SUV includes advanced handling features and a unique sound experience simulating an engine growl. Production of the Lyriq-V is set to begin in early 2025 at GM's Spring Hill, Tennessee factory. The starting price is $79,990, marking Cadillac's entry into the performance electric vehicle market.
