BYD introduces advanced driver assistance technology across its electric vehicle lineup

BYD announced on February 10, 2025, that it will integrate DeepSeek's AI into its new driver-assistance technology, called "DiPilot." The new system will be available across BYD's range of vehicles, including a low-cost model priced at 69,800 yuan ($9,555). Analysts noted that this makes BYD the first Chinese automaker to offer such advanced features in this price range.
