Burglary attempt at Bank of India in Ludhiana foiled
A burglary attempt at the Bank of India on Humbran Road was stopped early on Monday morning. Three unidentified suspects broke into the bank but could not steal any money. According to Amritpal Singh, the branch manager, the burglars entered by cutting the grill of a window in the record room. They also broke the windowpane. However, they were unable to get through the wall of the strong room where cash is kept. The suspects tried to damage the ATM's system to access money but failed in that effort too. They covered the CCTV cameras to hide their actions. The police, led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Surinder Singh from Ladhowal police station, have registered a case. The charges include trespass, theft, and causing damage. Investigations are ongoing, and police are working to identify the suspects and make arrests.
