Buffalo launches USB flash drive with built-in antivirus protection

Buffalo has launched the RUF3-KEV USB flash drive, which features built-in hardware-level antivirus protection. It continuously scans files for malware and can automatically isolate and remove infected files. The drive also includes a heuristic function to detect potentially harmful programs based on their behavior. It supports password authentication to prevent unauthorized access. The RUF3-KEV is compact and designed to protect against dust and damage with an auto-retracting connector. It comes in three capacities: 64GB, 32GB, and 16GB, priced at 10,000 yen, 8,300 yen, and 6,600 yen, respectively.
