Brooke Boney returns to Sydney after UK studies

Brooke Boney returned to Sydney on Monday after living in the UK for eight months. The 37-year-old former presenter of the Today show quit her job to study for a Master of Public Policy at Oxford University. As she landed at Sydney Airport, Brooke looked cheerful in casual clothes. She wore jeans, a white T-shirt, and a blue button-up shirt, along with a navy cap and matching sneakers. Brooke was seen chatting on her phone while waiting for a ride. Before leaving Australia, Brooke received a heartfelt farewell from her colleagues. During her last appearance on the Today show, she thanked viewers for their support and emphasized the importance of her role as one of the first Indigenous Australian hosts on a major breakfast show. Brooke admitted it was a tough decision to leave. She felt nervous about going to Oxford but received support from her co-workers. She also joked about her friends, Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo, who were sad to see her go but envious of her escape from early mornings. Now back in Sydney, Brooke plans to reconnect with family and friends.
