Jack Bond, a British filmmaker known for his avant-garde work in the 1960s and 70s, has died at age 87. He passed away on December 21 at a nursing home in Twickenham, as confirmed by his family. Bond collaborated with Jane Arden on several experimental films and later worked with pop stars like the Pet Shop Boys and Adam Ant. His notable projects include the documentary "The Pity of War" and the film "It Couldn’t Happen Here," which featured the Pet Shop Boys. Bond's career spanned decades, with a return to cinema in 2013 through documentaries about Adam Ant and painter Chris Moon. He is survived by his wife Moira, three children, and his partner Mary-Rose Storey.
