British father-son duo celebrates success with Dubai's highest infinity pool project

A British father and son duo, Russell and Sam Milburn, have achieved significant success by installing decking around the world's highest 360° infinity pool, Aura Skypool, in Dubai. This project marks a major post-Brexit win for their company, Lakeland Verandahs. The Milburns transported 24 tonnes of decking from the UK to Dubai, completing the installation 48 stories high at Palm Jumeirah. Their work is expected to lead to multiple contracts in the Middle East, with plans for 12 projects in the first year. Lakeland Verandahs, based in Preston, has seen sales rise to £6 million, its best performance in 17 years. The company now focuses on the Middle East as its sole export market, while continuing to serve clients in the UK.
