Bridgetown Research has raised $19 million in a Series A funding round led by Accel and Lightspeed. The startup aims to streamline due diligence for business decisions and mergers using AI agents to collect and analyze data quickly. Founded in December 2023 by Harsh Sahai, Bridgetown Research has developed three types of AI agents. These agents gather information from industry experts, interpret the data, and present it in an easy-to-read format, completing initial analyses in 24 hours. Bridgetown's approach allows clients to verify data and track the AI's reasoning process. The startup currently serves clients in the U.K. and the U.S., including private equity firms and consulting companies, differentiating itself from competitors by offering a more comprehensive solution.
