Bracco Imaging and Arrayus Technologies partner to improve pancreatic cancer treatment

Bracco Imaging S.A. and Arrayus Technologies Inc. have formed a partnership to improve drug delivery for pancreatic cancer treatment. They will combine Bracco's microbubble technology with Arrayus' focused ultrasound platform to enhance the effectiveness of therapies. This collaboration aims to address the challenges of treating pancreatic cancer, which is difficult due to its dense tissue. The use of microbubbles may help increase the permeability of biological barriers, allowing better drug uptake in tumors. Initial safety and feasibility data from preclinical studies will be presented at the International Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound Conference from September 19-22, 2024.
