Boston Scientific has agreed to acquire Nalu Medical, a company developing minimally invasive solutions for chronic pain patients. The deal includes an upfront payment of approximately $533 million for Nalu's remaining equity. Nalu's system uses peripheral nerve stimulation to treat chronic pain, featuring a micro-implantable pulse generator powered wirelessly. Nalu's technology received FDA clearance in 2019 and has shown significant pain relief in clinical trials. Boston Scientific expects to complete the acquisition in the first half of 2026.
