Boosie Badazz faces legal action over scholarship misuse

Boosie Badazz is facing legal trouble after he announced plans to create a scholarship in honor of Caleb Wilson, a hazing victim. Wilson's parents have made it clear that they did not give Boosie permission to use their son's name or image for this purpose. The rapper revealed the scholarship during his Boosie Bash Festival at Southern University. He mentioned that Caleb’s father played a role in keeping the event from being canceled. However, Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill stated that the parents were unaware of the scholarship and demanded it be removed from promotional materials. Murrill warned Boosie that the parents plan to take legal action against him. They argue that he is misusing their son’s name and image for a commercial event rather than a charitable cause. This situation comes as three individuals have already been arrested in connection to Caleb Wilson's death, which was tied to criminal hazing. While Boosie aimed to raise awareness about the issue, he now faces a serious legal challenge.
