BMW iX electric SUV arrives in Japan with 723 km range and 3.8-second acceleration

BMW Japan has announced the release of an updated electric vehicle, the BMW iX, with enhanced range and performance. Orders are now open, with deliveries expected to begin in November 2025. The revised iX boasts a maximum driving range of 723 km, the longest among BMW's BEVs in Japan. The high-performance iX M70 xDrive model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, featuring a powerful 659 PS output. This minor model change includes refined exterior and interior designs, aiming for a sportier and more futuristic aesthetic. Two models are available: the iX xDrive60 M Sport and the iX M70 xDrive, with prices starting at 14.98 million yen.
