Blue Ghost lunar lander successfully delivers to moon

Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost lunar lander successfully touched down on the moon, delivering a drill and experiments for NASA. This marks the first time a private company has landed a spacecraft on the moon without crashing. The lander, launched in January, is part of NASA's commercial lunar delivery program. It carried ten experiments and is expected to operate for two weeks before lunar daytime ends. Two other companies are preparing to land on the moon soon. Intuitive Machines aims to land its taller lander this week, while ispace's lander is set to arrive in three months.
