Blinkit raises notice period to two months to retain talent and curb poaching
Blinkit has changed its notice period policy, increasing it from zero to two months. This decision aims to retain talent amid competition from rivals like Zepto and Swiggy, who are actively recruiting in the quick commerce sector. Employees at Blinkit are now required to sign an addendum to their contracts reflecting this new notice period. The company is taking these steps to prevent poaching by competitors offering attractive salaries. In cases where an employee is moving to a direct competitor, Blinkit may place them on garden leave for two months or relieve them immediately to protect sensitive information.
