Officials say her detention is linked to a missing person case, but her family denies this, claiming it stems from corporate rivalry. Pankaj Oswal alleges that his daughter is being held illegally and has contacted the United Nations for assistance. He states that the situation arose after a former employee defaulted on a $200,000 loan and made false accusations against Vasundhara. Vasundhara, 26, is an Executive Director at PRO Industries and has been recognized for her leadership in East Africa's ethanol production. Her family describes her as a compassionate individual with no history of wrongdoing.
