Bengaluru named fastest-growing city in the world, report shows
A recent report by Savills Research highlights the rapid urbanization trend, with over half of the global population now living in cities. By 2050, the UN predicts that 68% of people will reside in urban areas, mainly in Asia and Africa. Bengaluru, India, has been identified as the world's fastest-growing city by 2033, driven by its tech industry and increasing wealth. It is followed by Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with other Indian cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai also ranking in the top ten. The top ten fastest-developing cities globally include Bengaluru, Ho Chi Minh City, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Riyadh, and Manila, reflecting significant economic growth and population increases.
