Bengaluru conclave promotes digital skills in education

Bengaluru City University recently hosted an event called NEXUS Edge 2k25 at its School of Management Studies. The event took place in collaboration with the International Institute of Business Studies. More than 2,500 attendees, including students, industry experts, and professors, participated in the conclave. The Vice Chancellor of Bengaluru City University, Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, opened the event. He spoke about the need for management education to keep up with the changing business world. He stressed that students should not only learn traditional academic subjects but also gain skills in digital technology and literacy. Nirmala M., the Chairperson of the School of Management Studies, was the guest of honor at the conclave. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary learning and using technology in business education. She noted that in today’s fast-changing job market, it is essential for students to continue learning and adapt to new challenges to succeed.
