Bajaur pensioners face payment delays from local bank

Many pensioners in Bajaur are unhappy with a private bank for delaying their pension payments. On Tuesday, they gathered outside the bank branch in Khar Bazaar to voice their concerns. They said that even though the government had released the pension funds on March 20, they had not received their payments. Aziz Khan, a retired employee from the Baroo area, expressed his frustration. He mentioned that he arrived early at the bank but left empty-handed. Another pensioner, Haidar Khan, who is 65 years old, shared his troubles. He planned to buy essential food items but couldn't because of the delays. The pensioners pointed out that this was not the first time they had faced payment issues with this bank. They called on the bank's management and local authorities to address the problem urgently. A bank official confirmed the delays and attributed them to a technical issue. The official promised that the bank would resolve the problem quickly.
