Badgley and Mischka left their company

Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka have departed Badgley Mischka after 37 years, as the brand was acquired by a joint venture. The co-founders are no longer involved in the company's operations. Established Incorporated, in partnership with ACI Licensing, now manages Badgley Mischka, along with other American brands. The designers, however, are already considering future projects, including red carpet dresses for the Cannes Film Festival. Badgley and Mischka, who met at Parsons, built their brand from humble beginnings, focusing on eveningwear and celebrity clientele. They are now dividing their time between Palm Beach and New York.
