Baby from Bangladesh successfully undergoes brain tumour surgery
A one-year-old girl from Bangladesh had brain surgery at MGM Healthcare in Chennai to remove a large tumour near her brain stem. The high-risk procedure was successful and completed without complications. After two weeks in intensive care, the baby was discharged. She has shown improvements in balance and independence, indicating progress toward a normal life. The tumour's location was rare and could have affected her consciousness and coordination. She had been experiencing symptoms like vomiting, facial paralysis, and delayed motor skills before the surgery.
