Baby City has gone into liquidation, rendering over $300,000 in gift cards and loyalty points unusable. Despite this, four of the seven stores are still operating under a new owner. The liquidation was initiated on December 31 by insolvency specialists. The company was previously owned by Campbell Gower, who became the sole shareholder just before the liquidation. Three former shareholders stepped down shortly before this event.
