Audi's RS Q3 high-performance SUV remains unavailable in North America

Audi's RS Q3, a high-performance subcompact SUV, is not available in North America despite its popularity in other markets. The model can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under five seconds, but Audi has not released it in the U.S. due to perceived limited demand. In 2024, Audi sold nearly 200,000 vehicles in the U.S., with the Q3 selling 30,437 units compared to 56,799 Q5s. Audi's market analysis suggests that the RS Q3's sales would not justify the costs of marketing and distribution in North America. The RS3 sedan, which shares the same powertrain as the RS Q3, is also facing limited availability. The 2024 model year is sold out, and prices for remaining units are significantly above the suggested retail price.
