Asus launches 2025 ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 gaming laptops with upgraded GPUs

Asus has unveiled its 2025 ROG Zephyrus gaming laptops, the G14 and G16. The G16 features Intel's Core Ultra 9 processor and options for RTX 50-series GPUs, while the G14 retains last year's Ryzen AI 9 but upgrades to an RTX 5080. Both models maintain the same design and features as last year's versions, including ROG Nebula displays. The G16 offers a 2.5K, 240 Hz display, while the G14 has a 3K, 120 Hz display. The new laptops showcase Nvidia's mobile RTX 50-series GPUs, introduced alongside desktop models. The G16 is equipped with the powerful RTX 5090, while the G14 is seen as a more balanced option with the RTX 5080.
