Assassin's Creed Shadows has tiered character abilities

In Assassin's Creed Shadows, players can choose from various character abilities for two characters, Naoe and Yasuke. A recent guide ranks these abilities into four tiers based on their effectiveness. S-tier abilities are the most powerful and should be prioritized. For Naoe, key S-tier skills include Counter Attack, Dodge Attack, and Guard Breaker. These skills enhance combat effectiveness by allowing for counter-attacks and improved techniques. Other notable S-tier abilities for Naoe are Kunai Assassination Damage and Cyclone Blast. A-tier skills are still useful but may be situational. Skills like Reinforced Blade and Doble Assassinate fit this category for Naoe. Meanwhile, B-tier skills are decent but not ideal for long-term use, including Hand of Creed and Vigor. C-tier skills are considered weak and can often be avoided, such as Rush Assassinate and Shoji Door Assassination. For Yasuke, S-tier abilities include Payback, which helps restore health, and Regeneration, allowing him to face enemies without worrying about health loss. His A-tier abilities, like Adrenaline Builder and Combat Expert, are critical for increasing damage and effectiveness in combat. Some B-tier skills for Yasuke, like Power Dash and Sheathed Attack, can be useful in certain scenarios but are not vital.
