Apple plans OLED MacBook Pro launch for 2026 and MacBook Air for 2027

Apple plans to launch its first MacBook Pro with an OLED screen in 2026, replacing the current Mini-LED displays. The MacBook Air is expected to follow with an OLED upgrade in 2027. The new MacBook Pro will come in 14.3-inch and 16.3-inch sizes, featuring a Hybrid OLED screen without a display notch. The MacBook Air will also have a Hybrid OLED panel, but it will retain a display notch. Earlier this year, Apple upgraded the iPad Pro to OLED. Future iPad models may also receive OLED screens, with the iPad Air expected to be updated in 2026.
