Anax Power, Enbridge will install turboexpanders in Pennsylvania, Ontario

Anax Power and Enbridge will install turboexpanders in Pennsylvania and Ontario, adding up to 3.5 megawatts of clean energy capacity. The project aims to generate electricity from natural gas pipelines without combustion. The installations will utilize Anax Power's technology to generate zero-emission electricity for Magellan Scientific's data centers. The Pennsylvania project is the second for Anax and Magellan, while the Ontario project is the first in Canada. Enbridge, a major North American pipeline, is adopting the technology to reduce emissions. The turboexpanders use pipeline pressure to drive turbines, potentially scaling to numerous locations.
