"American Dad" returns to Fox for 20th season

"American Dad" is making a comeback to Fox. The animated series, created by Seth MacFarlane, will start airing new episodes there again after leaving for TBS in 2014. The show’s return is part of a multi-season deal. Season 20 will kick off on Fox, while the current season 19 ends on TBS this March 24. Although TBS won't air new episodes, they will continue to show reruns until at least 2030. This move has been planned for months, allowing the show's production to continue without interruption. "American Dad" first aired on Fox in 2005 and has a loyal fan base. This isn’t the first time one of MacFarlane’s shows was revived. "Family Guy" also returned to Fox after being canceled. Fans are excited to see "American Dad" return to its original network.
